What is nutrition?
Nutrition starts with eating food and drinking drink. The body then breaks down the food and drink into its respective nutrients. These nutrients then travel around the body to be used wherever necessary. Carbohydrates are converted into glucose or fuel for the body, protein is broken down into amino acids and fats are broken down into fatty acids.
For a person to be healthy, a person must eat enough food to get a good supply of all the key nutrients. There is a set of guidelines that the government publishes for 20 or so different vitamins, minerals and nutrients and those values are based on population studies, where they go out and look at the health of the general population and consider what people consume on a regular basis.
Is good nutrition based on certain food stuffs?
Nutrition is based on getting all the right balance of nutrients
necessary for good health. A food stuff is a raw material that
can be made into a food. Only eating particular foods or foods
stuffs will not help you be healthier.
Knee and ankle are the main joints that takes the load of everyday living. they must be stable in all directions as our movement during activities such as walking and sitting are not unidirectional. Stability of ankle and knee joints is crucial as less stable joints are easily prone to injury. These set of movements will help to improve the strength of the knee and ankle.

1 . Stand upright with heel and toes together.
2 . Stretch the right leg forward with the toes pointing downward, about an inch from ground. Flex the right KNEE and move the right leg forward. The knee may be flexed as much as possible without raising the left heel off the ground. Stay for 5 to 10 seconds in this posture, without letting the right foot touch the ground. The trunk should not lean forward and the flexed knee should not move sideways. Slowly pull the right leg back and resume the mountain pose.
3 . Relax and repeat the above steps with right leg stretched backwards and sidewards.
4 . Repeat these movements with both legs at least two times.
Notes : Observe the sub movements and the ankle joint and the loading on the knee .
Exercise these points and make your knee and ankle Stronger .
Many people who smoke try to reduce or avoid smoking but they find difficult to do so. Here are some simple tips to avoid smoking. When a person starts to smoke he does not feel the pleasure of smoking on the day he starts to do so, it takes some days and a number of cigars to feel the real pleasure of smoking. So people who are beginners can avoid it much easily compared to those who have been smoking for a long time.
When ever you feel like smoking take a fast long walk or jog so that your body sweats. If you reside on a tall building avoid lifts and use the staircase so that you body gets some exercise.
Use Chiclets when ever you find difficult to stay without smoking.
People smoke to relax themselves but the fact is that when a person smokes the blood pressure and heartbeat increases, so when you feel tensed take deep breathe for 2-5 minutes and stay calm.
Drink a lot of water when you feel like smoking.
Go for a swim once or twice in a week.
Practice YOGA.
When someone smokes keep away from them as it may tempt you to smoke.
To reduce the nicotine content in your body add an Apple, an Egg and a glass of Lime juice to your daily diet.
Follow this with a self control and i assure you that you will forget smoking soon.
